At the time of building, it was decided to leave a large gap (+ -150m2) in the mezzanine floor for aesthetic reasons. Around this a glass balustrade was built, allowing a view from the first floor to the ground floor at all times, where there was a beautiful inner pond.
The new tenant of the building found this + -150m2 “open floor” lost surface and urgently asked us for help. As there was little time, we chose and worked out a dry version that complies with current fire standards. Creating a number of fire shafts with fire doors was also no problem for us.
